| Professor Eichten is an international authority in theoretical particle physics. His contributions to dynamical electroweak symmetry breaking, supercollider physics and the physics of quarkonia, the bound states of heavy quark and antiquark, belong to the mile stones in these rather diverse fields. During his stay in Germany, he intends to study new heavy quark systems and non-perturbative strong interaction effects in rare meson decays. |
